Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), the main companies in the public sector engaged in the development and expansion of small and cottage industries in the country. BSCIC birth in 1957 through parliamentary law. Through the direct and indirect initiative of BSCIC, a lot of entrepreneurship and industrial establishments have been established in the country. The impact of globalization and free market economy is the main obstacle in the marketing of small and cottage manufactured products in this sector. BSCIC extends and develops these existing and new industries and provides the necessary facilities for survival in the competition.
